Edward Lear

Edward Lear was a British illustrator, landscape painter and poet best remembered for his nonsense verse. Before that he was one of the finest ornithological illustrators of his generation, completing the magnificent Illustrations of the Family of Psittacidae, or Parrots, at the age of nineteen.
